Cranio Sacral Therapy
UPLEDGER INSTITUTE
As a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics at Michigan State University from 1975 to 1983, osteopathic physician John E. Upledger conducted significant scientific studies that led to the development of CranioSacral Therapy (CST).
The craniosacral system, which is composed by the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and guard the brain and spinal cord, can be evaluated and improved functioning via the use of gentle, hands-on techniques.
CST can improve the functioning of the central nervous system as well as many other systems of the body, including the digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more.

Visceral Manipulation
BARRAL INSTITUTE
Jean-Pierre Barral, a well-known French osteopath and physical therapist, created visceral manipulation (VM).
VM helps with structural and functional imbalances in the body, including musculoskeletal, vascular, neurological, urogenital, respiratory, digestive, and lymphatic disorders, by mobilizing fascia specific to each organ.
It evaluates and treats the dynamics of motion and suspension in relation to organs, membranes, fascia, and ligaments.
By improving proprioceptive communication in the body, VM helps people feel more energized and relieve pain, dysfunction, and bad posture.
